Table linens lay the foundation for a beautiful table for your afternoon tea.  We have provided the following information on the care of your table linens.

Stain Removal Basics

Linen Care:

Caring for table linens is a very easy process if it is done sooner rather than later after using the linens.

1. Blot spills promptly and flush with cold water as soon after the spill as possible.  Use a bit of liquid dish detergent on the spill as well.

2. Launder the linens immediately after use.  Use an oxygen based detergent or oxygen based bleach with your detergent if it is suitable for the fabric. Use warm water rather than hot or cold water.

3. Do not add fabric softener to the wash when you are cleaning table linens.  It can weaken the fibers in delicate fabrics and make napkins less absorbent.

4. When the linens are done washing, check them for spots before putting them in the dryer.  Drying the linens will set spots in permanently, so check them before drying so you have a chance to retreat them if you need to.

5. Dry linens on low heat, and remove them from the dryer while they are still damp.  Over drying them can shrink up the fibers and make the linens weak.

6. Dry clean linens that are embellished with beads and similar embellishments.
